Getting to the Cordouan Lighthouse and practical information
Motorboats depart from Royan and Meschers-sur-Gironde, offering sea trips to get closer to the lighthouse and excursions to disembark and visit it.
Access to the lantern is at the end of the building’s 301 steps… Your effort will be amply rewarded by the breathtaking panorama: the Gironde estuary, the Pointe de Grave, the Gironde and Charente coasts, the Coudre forest and the open sea as far as the eye can see!
